Barrie Speedway is pleased announce a new television deal with Rogers Television Network.
“We’re pleased to be able to announce that we have signed a new television broadcast agreement with Rogers Television Network to televise all of the weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series races at Barrie Speedway this season. We’re also very
excited to have Centennial Dodge Chrysler Jeep and G.D. Coates Suzuki as a major sponsor of the show. Gord Coates has contributed so much to the Speedway over the years and we’re honoured that he is supporting the Speedway yet again with this sponsorship.
This is of great value to all of the sponsors, advertisers, drivers, owners and crews who race at Barrie Speedway every Saturday Night”, states Barrie Speedway’s Jim Payetta. “And it adds a whole new level to the racing excitement at Barrie Speedway for
our fans”, added Payetta.
The agreement will see Rogers Television Network shoot the races at Barrie Speedway every Saturday night, then edit the night down to a two hour show that will air in prime time on Wednesday Nights, Friday Nights and Sunday afternoons on a number of Rogers
Television networks across southern Ontario.
